Brian has been the Senior Pastor at Woodbury Community Church since June of 2008. Prior to serving WCC, Brian served as the Sr. High Pastor at Wooddale Church in Eden Prairie, MN for 7 years, First Evangelical Free Church in Moline, Illinois for 5 1/2 years, and Faith Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Alexandria, Virginia for almost 3 years. He has been married to his best friend, Cyndi since 1991. Brian and Cyndi have four children, Breanna, Christopher, Jeremy and Zachary. Brian loves his family deeply, and likes nothing more than being able to spend time with them.
Darrin Geier is the Youth Pastor at Woodbury Community Church. He began his ministry at WCC in October of 2011, after serving for four years as the Youth Pastor at Eden Prairie Presbyterian Church. Darrin is a graduate of Bethel Seminary and Luther College. He is married to Ali and has two beautiful daughters named
Kathryn Kimball is our Director of Children and Family Ministries. She oversees all of our ministry to children and families (Birth-Sixth Grade).
Kara Doten serves as Woodbury Community Church’s Worship Director. She is a 2011 graduate of Bethel University with a degree in Music Leadership. Kara grew up a pastor’s daughter, with a very musical mom and a sister and brother. She was a part of Pastor Brian’s youth ministry at Wooddale Church in Eden Prairie. Kara
John has been in the pastoral ministry for over 20 years, first serving as Assistant Pastor Great Bridge Church in Chesapeake, Virginia and then Senior Pastor of the historic Cypress Chapel in Suffolk, Virginia. He holds both a Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry from Regent University and has served as adjunct faculty for both Providence Bible College and Theological Seminary in Norfolk, Virginia and Crown College’s Adult and Graduate Studies Program here in the Twin Cities. John is Director of Conference Care & Church Redevelopment for the CCCC and serves as Director of Discipleship for Woodbury Community Church.
Linda is our Office Manager at Woodbury Community Church. She enjoys being part of this family of faith and witnessing God’s work at WCC. Linda was the Office Manager at Lakeview Lutheran Church in Maplewood prior to joining WCC. Linda and her husband, Mike, have lived in Woodbury for 20 years. She enjoys family get-togethers, camping, golfing, boating, hiking, movies and reading.
