How is this service used? – After you sign up, you’ll begin to receive occasional text messages. These will include updates about student ministry events, reminders, and even inspirational messages. When you receive a message, “WCCstudents@symt.us” will appear in the “FROM” field on your phone.
Is the contact information kept secured? - Yes. The info you give is protected with 256-bit encryption…the same that is used for any online banking. And your contact info is never sold.
Does this cost anything? - There’s no charge beyond what you’re already paying to receive text messages.
How many texts will I get in a month? - You can expect somewhere between 10 and 15 texts a month.
Can I unsubscribe when I want? - If you ever want to stop receiving youth group text alerts, you can simply reply to a text with STOP, QUIT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE at any time. Or find your sign up page by clicking the appropriate button above. Then, click “unsubscribe”.
