Our Sunday morning classes are fun, energetic, and valuable for immersing children in the Bible. FaithZone & Club 56 classes are offered during the school year (September- May).
We offer a consistent, warm, and nurturing environment in our nursery for children ages birth – 2 years old, during both the 9:00 and 10:30 am services. The nursery is a reliable, safe, and supervised area for your children while you worship. Children must be signed in each Sunday and will be dismissed only to a parent or guardian. We ask that parents be available to assist your child if needed.
Parents with children ages 3 years – 4th grade check in each Sunday in the multi-purpose room. Everyone will start out with a time of games and music and then separate to small group settings arranged by grade. In our small groups we spend time in prayer and use a program which allows the children to experience the stories of the Bible. We encourage application and creativity through art, plays, games and hands on activities. This year children will be learning stories from the Old Testament, the life of Jesus and the New Testament Church.
Designed for 5th and 6th graders, we will spend time building relationships, studying God’s Word together, and finding ways to act on our faith by serving others. This year our focus will be the life of Jesus and the New Testament Church. This class will meet each Sunday morning at 10:30 in the Club 56 room.
Kids earn tokens and prizes by learning and practicing a Bible verse each month. We will talked about how these verses apply to our lives both in and outside of the church. This year’s verses will include:
1 Timothy 4:12; Psalm 119:105; Psalm 23; and others
Kids will also earn tokens for doing special projects and especially for bringing friends to church events throughout the year.
Our Zone 4:12 meet every Wednesday night from 6:30-8:00 pm, Sept. 14 – April.
This program is for both boys and girls ages 1st – 6th grade. Children will discover what it is to be called a child of God and learn how to walk with Jesus daily. This is done through prayer, Bible reading and reflection, worship, and learning with others. They will build a variety of character and life skills and spend time with Christian friends and role models. We will be using a curriculum from Group Publishing called “Living Inside Out”. A typical night consists of games, a Bible story, Bible memory, projects, and sharing and prayer time. Special events include: Bonfire Night, Operation Christmas Child, visits to the Woodbury Nursing Home, Sleepover, Pinewood Derby and Father/Daughter and Mother/Son banquet and others.
